About e-Prosecution
e-Prosecution is a part of India’sDigital Prosecution Infrastructure, developed under theInter-Operable Criminal Justice System (ICJS) initiative, led by theMinistry of Home Affairs (MHA) andNational Informatics Centre (NIC).
It aims to digitize, streamline, and strengthen the entire criminal prosecution process — frompolice report submission tocourt case monitoring — by enabling seamless communication between police, prosecution, judiciary, and prison departments.
It is implemented across many Indian states and UTs and plays a vital role in improving thespeed, transparency, and accountability of the prosecution process.
